I laser engrave and cut thin woods to create all sorts of fancy-looking stuff, and I build larger pieces like quilt racks, picture frames and stools. If you have an idea, I'd be glad to work with you to make it.

From your idea to a finished piece

Send me your idea

A sketch, a photo, a name, a saying, or a piece you saw somewhere. Tell me the size and where it'll go.
I draw it up and quote it

You'll see a layout before anything is cut, with the wood, finish and price. Name rounds start at [YOUR PRICE].
I cut, finish and hand it off

Most pieces take [TURNAROUND]. Pick up locally or ask about shipping.

About the shop

Fincher Woodworking is a one-person shop. I started doing this on the side because I enjoy it, and every piece teaches me something, usually the hard way first.

I work with a laser for engraving and cutting thin woods, and with hand and power tools for the bigger builds. If you see or design a unique piece, I'd be glad to work with you to complete it.
